The Maldives were a perfect escape from the stress, anxiety and excitement of planning two amazing wedding celebrations. The only constant noise accompanying us throughout our trip was that of waves rolling into the shore. Captured on a small island for 10 days and surrounded by the whitest sand and clearest, turquoise water, we had 3 course lunches, daily snorkeling and spa treatments, swimming with reef and whale sharks and dancing with native Maldivians on our agenda. Brambles delivered by our favorite Sri Lankan bartender, Jason’s brave little crab winning the crab race, line fishing in the Indian Ocean, paddle boarding and canoeing – all those little experiences helped make our honeymoon so special and unforgettable. I could not imagine experiencing all of this with anyone other than my amazing new husband. I can’t wait for all of our future adventures.
1 1/2 oz London Dry Gin
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Crème de Mûre
6 Crushed Blackberries
Shake together, pour in a short cocktail glass, and serve with a slice of lime on the rim.
